When divisiveness hangs over our public discourse and spills over into private relationships it is tempting to throw up your arms in despair, but there are ways through it. Carleton University Professor Deborah Conners will help you navigate these tricky waters to a place of, if not resolution, deeper empathy and understanding.

Everyone has a story worth telling and worth sharing, because it is in the sharing that we find connection, personal power and the opportunity to inspire and validate the experience of others. Theatre artist and story teller Emily Pearlman will help you find that story and give you the confidence        and skills to share it.

In contemporary society, changes happen at warp speed and sometimes it feels hard to keep up. This is nowhere more evident than in the growing recognition of gender and sexual diversity.  In this programme Karen Luyendyk and Chrissie Young will create a non-judgemental place for you to ask your questions and develop your knowledge about the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities
